Andy is a co-founder of Grist, and account director for many of our professional services clients. His recent projects span the full range of marketing communications, including integrated content marketing programmes, web development, thought leadership and video. Prior to founding Grist, Andy was marketing director at the Economist Intelligence Unit in London and New York.
Mark Wellings is responsible for developing and implementing content marketing strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients. Prior to co-founding Grist he was director of custom publishing for the Economist Intelligence Unit in New York, publisher for Financial Times Newsletters and Management Reports in Hong Kong and senior commissioning editor for Thomson Learning in London.
Jennifer works with organisations to understand their goals and create distinctive solutions that help achieve them. As art director, she develops innovative concepts that boost brands and make the most of every medium. From brief through delivery, she looks after projects, researching, planning and liaising with colleagues, clients and suppliers. She has considerable experience in creating communications for business, both at specialist agencies and in-house at PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as for the public sector. She has degrees in design and language.
Mike has over 14 years' experience in designing, building and delivering online publishing systems for financial and professional services clients. He advises on all aspects of web publishing including content strategy, architecture, design, search, ad serving, user-generated content and analytics. At CNET (now CBS Interactive), Mike’s team created some of the most sophisticated publishing sites on the web including cnet.co.uk, silicon.com and the award-winning ZDNet.co.uk.
Tracey joined Grist at the start of 2017, bringing with her several years of editing and content management experience. As senior editor, Tracey project manages client work from planning stage to launch, across all channels including websites, magazines and social media. She regularly and proactively liaises with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the project and service delivery. Tracey also commissions content from specialist journalists and is responsible for quality control throughout the entire production process. Tracey’s role before Grist was at EMAP as head of content management for Retail Week’s commercial projects, daily news website and weekly print publication.
A qualified journalist with over twelve years’ experience in creating engaging and informative content, Danny joined Grist at the start of 2018. As senior editor, Danny works closely with clients to ensure projects, across an array of platforms and channels, exceed expectations, from planning to delivery. He regularly commissions journalists who are experts in their fields, providing clear detailed briefs, to maintain quality control throughout. Danny’s role prior to Grist was at Bookmark Content and Communications as editor on the multi-account desk. This saw him take ownership of a number of inflight magazines and digital projects.
As marketing manager at Grist, Somaya is responsible for the delivery of the inbound marketing strategy and its implementation. This includes developing and executing a content marketing programme, managing Grist’s digital marketing channels (Website, email and social media) and organising events that build relationships with clients in the financial services, professional services and technology sectors and help Grist to share and spread their vision of ‘content with a purpose’. Somaya’s previous experience includes developing print, digital and social media content and managing online communities for clients in the healthcare market.
