Andrew has almost 20 years’ general management and marketing experience. Prior to co-founding Grist he worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit where he spent five years in New York as marketing director with responsibility for branding, direct marketing and PR. As general manager of Pyramid, a newly acquired research company, he was responsible for repositioning a 50-person international division for dramatic new online opportunities.
Mark Wellings is our publishing director. He has produced hundreds of highly-successful and innovative business magazines, books, reports, and websites with leading international publishers over the last 20 years. Prior to co-founding Grist he was director of custom publishing for the Economist Intelligence Unit in New York, publisher for Financial Times Newsletters and Management Reports in Hong Kong and senior commissioning editor for Thomson Learning in London.
Andy Beswick is our art director. Andy has been responsible for the creative direction, visual identity, design, launch, branding and ongoing evolution of countless successful magazines, including FT’s How to spend it magazine.
Kent Height is our video producer. He has 15 years’ experience creating print and online campaigns, latterly specialising in video production for organisations including ACE European Group, BSI British Standards, DAC Beachcroft, Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Thompson Snell & Passmore.
Mike has over 12 years experience in designing, building and delivering on-line publishing systems. With real world experience in on-line product development, Mike provides advice on all aspects of web publishing including content strategy, architecture, design, search, ad serving and user generated content. At CNET (now CBS Interactive), Mike’s team created some of the most sophisticated publishing sites on the web including cnet.co.uk, silicon.com and the award winning ZDNet.co.uk.
